PANEL 1 (A spaceship flies through space with Earth and the moon in the background.) CAPTION: Invasion Scout's Log: Foldtime 284194.01 Captain Char'L Reporting. I am nearing Sol-3...
PANEL 2 (Inside the cockpit, a pilot in a full flight suit is holding the joystick.) CAPTION: This planet should be easy pickings for the main fleet, as my analysis shall show. SFX: Bleep! CHAR'L: Eh?
PANEL 3 (Over the pilot's shoulder, we see a large rock-like object approaching directly toward the spaceship's nose. A screen on the dashboard reads "BAD NEWS".) CAPTION: A Meteor!
PANEL 4 (The object crashes into the ship and creates a hole in its side.) CHAR'L: ACK!
PANEL 5 (The spaceship spirals down toward Earth.) CAPTION: Some days, it's just not worth climbing out of the rest-o-tron.
PANEL 6 (The spaceship lands on the ground next to BASTICH's relatively large feet, revealing the it's tiny size.) SFX: THUD!
PANEL 7 (A huge BASTICH stares through the cockpit window as the pilot facepalms.) BASTICH: HELLOOO IN THERE... CAPTION: I can tell this is going to be a long invasion.

Commentary
In this continuation of the would-be cosmic arc, we see last week's events from the perspective of the alien ship's pilot. Not quite on the level Roshomon but it gave me a chance to play with Sci-fi tropes and draw some space stuff, which is always fun.
"Char'L" is a Tuckerization of the same childhood friend who appeared in ECT Party and The Campaign: End.
