PANEL 3 (An anthropomorphic beer keg appears from the impact crater, aiming its keg-spout hand angrily at BASTICH-MAN.) KEG-LEG: BEWARE, denizens of CHERUB KNOLL! It is I, the mighty KEG LEG! BASTICH-MAN: You got the wrong town, buddy--!
PANEL 4 (A group of masked Ninja-like heroes appears, each wearing a tunic with a different pattern.) PLAID RANGER: Right you are, Bastich Man! This nuisance is the doing of the evil Baron Zod! BASTICH-MAN: Hey, it's the MIGHTY MORTAL KOMBAT RANGERS! POLKA-DOT RANGER: Sorry, no time for autographs!
PANEL 5 (Circular inset panels of each ranger, including PLAID RANGER, PINSTRIPE RANGER PAISLEY RANGER, POLKA-DOT RANGER, BURNT SIENNA RANGER, and ED, who is wearing a backwards baseball cap.)
PANEL 6 (PLAID RANGER delivers a jumping kick to KEG-LEG as the other rangers join in and BASTICH-MAN wanders away from the fray.) PLAID RANGER: Al right, Rangers, it's Kombat time! Kombatastical! BASTICH-MAN: I've had about enough of this...

Commentary
A quick throw-away parody of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers with the "twist" that they all look like Scorpion and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. Then, just add a ridiculous monster-of-the-week, silly color-coding, and a stand-in for the MMPR's hometown of Angel Grove and you have... this.
